Jim is certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization as a specialist in Estate Planning and Probate Law and is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC), an Academician of the International Academy of Estate and Trust Law, and an Elected Member of the American Law Institute. Jim’s practice includes the preparation of wills, trusts, business entity organizational documents (including family limited partnerships), shareholder agreements, buy-sell agreements, marital property agreements, and other estate planning, asset protection, charitable gift planning and business succession documents. Jim has experience in the formation and representation of corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, not-for-profit corporations, and private foundations.
